I know I should be checking on Latin Percussion but instead, I have been checking on Gap’s baby girls’ section. Nope, not actually having the baby fever again, more of buying a birthday gift for my goddaughter. But yes, a little giddy with the thought that it would be very exciting to have a live baby doll to dress up. Speaking of, I saw this cute pair of jelly flats at Gap last week.

Saw this yesterday at Gap. So adorbs! No, not my entry for FeB Pad-shoes. 

Somebody’s going to DisneyWorld for his 7th birthday…
Finally, after so much discernment, we have decided to celebrate Baba’s birthday in May at the happiest place on Earth. We were supposed to throw him a huge party but we just do not have the time to organize one here. Of course he will still get the plastic model cars and some Lego sets he wishes for his birthday but I am pretty sure he will have a blast in Disneyworld.

19/29: #SomethingYouHateToDo #febphotoaday #DisneyWorld #Florida I love traveling but I dread the planning part.

Lazy Weekend

We had a laid-back weekend. Other than our regular Sunday mass, we just dropped by the mall to check out stainless steel necklaces for my mom. Then while the world was glued to Superbowl, I chose to hang out with Baba, reading about Bats! Now, I am ready for Monday, snoozing in a bit. Hope you all had a restful weekend!

Reading with my boy while everyone is watching superbowl 

I have been spreading myself too thin with work matters lately. Tomorrow, I need to get off for a couple of hours from work and meet with our accountant to finalize our tax returns filing documents. But in the meantime, I need to finish some blogging tasks but since my brain has been tired and used up all day at work, I need to rest first and watch D’ Smurfs movie with my boys who are actually wearing some cute and funny tee shirts.

Here’s sharing a very nice bubble thought on what we can learn from our kids according to Paulo Coehlo. I could not help but agree as I get to be reminded by Baba about the simplest yet most joyful things in life. Now. off to this site: ActConferencing.com teleconferencing. Oh yes, it’s going to be a long night.

Finally, Sunshine!

2boys and a girl. Finally sunshine!
I guess these kaufmann fabrics would be perfect for this kind of weather we have now. As I picked up Baba today in school, I allowed him to play for a short while with his friends as the weather really is inviting to enjoy the outdoor.

Looks like Spring is coming early this year and yes, Thank heavens for the warm Winter season.

Gone are the Days

E wasn't as amazed as he was last yr, big boy na talaga. 
Before I check on this ekg machine, let me share with you this bittersweet thought/experience with Baba.

Last New Year’s eve, we went to Christmas Town and watched Elmo’s amongst other stage musicale. To my surprise, my not-so-little-boy was not interested anymore and thought it was for babies. Yay! I guess, he is growing up way too fast!

Baba’s Newest Tradition

Posted by admin on 24th January and posted in Children and Gifts, Christmas and Kids, birthday boy, writing and children

It's that time when Ethan writes TY cards... 
Baba’s Aunts, Uncles, Godparents, Grandparents, Titas, Titos, Cousins, Friends, Parents of Friends and everyone else who gave him presents last Christmas were so happy and proud to receive Thank You Cards handwritten by Baba himself. Initially, he wanted to write a Thank you Note to Santa for completing his Christmas wishlist (and no, he did receive any boyfriend beer gifts hee hee), then I told him I have a few Thank you cards stash in my supplies. So he decided to write all of the people who sent/gave him gifts especially since he knows how to write with correct spelling at this age.

This is his new Holiday tradition (and perhaps birthday tradition too), to send out Thank You cards for people who remembers him. Ain’t he the sweetest?

His 3rd Bible

Posted by admin on 11th January and posted in Baba Excels, Children and Gifts, Children's Bible, Christmas and Kids, Education and Children, First Grade Journey, Reading and Kids, child rearing, discipline

Ethan's 3rd bible, super nice may reflection questions at the end of every story. #1ofthebestpresentsHeGotFromXmas

The same Godparent who gave the Perplexus, gifted Baba his 3rd Bible. I guess I am the happiest when Baba receives books as presents especially Bible books. More than the intellect, I want him to have good values in life. No matter what jobs he choose in the future, may it be a doctor, lawyer or Reservations Clerk Jobs, I am assured that he will do it according to God’s will.

What is nice about this Children’s bible are the reflections/questions at the end of every short story. Every single word that is written in this bible is within the sight words that are supposed to be met by 1st graders. Truly, a Children’s Bible for keeps!

Perplexus Craze

It’s a hump day and that means, I’m working from home. I also make sure that every Wednesday, I try to update this blog.

Looking back at the Holidays, I realized that Baba got everything he wanted on his Christmas wishlist. How lucky could he be! With all the Santa Aunts & Uncles, Santa Grandparents and Godparents, and of course, Santa Mom & Dad, he got the sweetest day gifts he could ever imagine. But I would like to commend 1 Godparent who chose to buy him something that is not on his wishlist.

This Perplexus puzzle ball has been awarded several times as an outstanding toy for kids. Baba got this for Christmas and for once, he was quiet on one corner. However, we were amazed that he was able to overcome almost 64 barriers in less than 10 minutes. This toy definitely improves his focus and brain cells. He got this Original Perplexus with 100 barriers and difficulty level of 6. You must check out this toy, even as adults your focus will be challenged!
